Dear PTH Friends,<\/p>\n
Listen to the \u201csound\u201d. Listen to what the Word of the Lord is saying in this hour. Listen to the praise, prayers and prophesies. What does the Lord have in store for this next season? Or maybe I need to back up a little and get through this current season first! So, back to the question: \u201cWhat does the Lord have in store? I don\u2019t know …. However, I do know if He is saying listen, He must be wanting us to hear what He has in store…. the sound … <\/p>\n
Do you find this to be true:? When we listen, there is a natural response and so human nature to hear reports \/ go with the symptoms from various angles and entities and then start voicing \u201cthat language.\u201d… speaking that \u201csound\u201d…. good or bad news, our \u201chuman side\u201d can\u2019t help but react. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut our citizenship is in heaven.\u201d (Phil 3:20) …. not here on earth – and our battle is not flesh and blood (Eph 6:12). We live by Kingdom Purposes …. the \u201csound\u201d that lines up with the WORD. Yes, the battle is recognized, but the end result …. the end report is that God wins. And if God be for us, who can be against us? <\/p>\n
So, that is why I am writing. So many are praying and PTH is so appreciative. Yet, I wanted to let you know the battle is tough. The good news is that is generally a good indication of the battle in the spiritual realm… and God is in control, regardless how things look, or how long it takes for relief to come. Remember the story of Daniel and Michael, the angel? (Daniel, chap. 10) Can\u2019t you just hear Daniel\u2019s plea? … \u201cMan, Michael! Where\u2019ve you been? … <\/p>\n
So thank you, on behalf of PTH, for your prayer coverages. Prayer is key to releasing His Word and so vital in this hour! I know many of you probably already join with others regularly in prayer, but if you\u2019ve never had the opportunity to connect with another(s), I just encourage you to go for it and call or meet with a friend(s). It is powerful and the enemy doesn\u2019t like it!<\/p>\n
\u201cThough one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. (Ecc 4:12).\u201d Our Words, when we pray God\u2019s Word are powerful!
On the flip side, the enemy knows negativity, or nay-saying tears down and so he\u2019s right in the mix trying to get his two cents in as well. Like Job\u2019s story and his friends in Job 19:1 & 2: \u201cThen Job answered and said: \u201cHow long will you torment my soul, And break me in pieces with words?\u201d<\/p>\n
Our words are powerful! True, there may be all sorts of circumstances, storms, issues \u201cwords of medical reports\u201d and they have the power to torment to one\u2019s soul… God \/ Job said it to be so! <\/p>\n
Listen to the \u201csound\u201d of words around you; words we speak, words we hear; even words we say over \/ to ourselves. Humbling to think the weightiness of our words hold! Thank God, He loves to hear our prayers, praise and prophesy when they line up with HIS REPORT!… HIS WORD! <\/p>\n
Nancy shared that Henry said the Lord recently told him it would be rough but there is an end. And how awesome to know that when the Lord speaks, HE loves to quote Himself : \u201cI will make \u201cthe rough ways smooth\u201d (Is. 42:16)<\/p>\n
So, I am beseeching all of us, to be a cord of 3 (Ecc.4:12) through this season and pray for HIS strength and revelation, etc. to reign down as we approach this 2014 season. Let our sound be what the LORD is saying … has already spoken!<\/p>\n
Pray as the Lord leads and let us all stay connected in some way; unity .
Please pray specifically for Nancy: strength, health, revelation, etc. as she listens to the Lord in regards to 2014; and as she leads PTH in the plans of the Lord. I know the Lord is stirring a powerful Word in her. She is excited about it but it is definitely been somewhat like a \u201cDan and Mike\u201d story.<\/p>\n
Also, please keep Rose S. in prayer (PTH Assistant Direct in Georgia). Her spirit is strong, yet her body is still on the \u201crough path\u201d …. but God said \u201cHE WILL MAKE THE ROUGH WAYS SMOOTH.\u201d <\/p>\n
God is LOVE! LOVE is God! In Him there is not fear. 1 Jo. 4:18 \u201cThere is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear, because fear involves torment…\u201d It is no wonder the enemy is tries to torment us in various ways … he\u2019s trying to cast fear. …. But we HAVE His perfect Love, because of who He is! Amen!<\/p>\n
