Dear PTH Friends,<\/p>\n

Do my prayers matter?\u00a0 Are my prayers effective for Point To Hope Ministries?\u00a0 Have you every wondered or questioned the effectiveness of your prayers?\u00a0 Have you thought:\u00a0 \u2018I\u2019m just \u2018one\u2019 sitting in a quiet place at home praying,\u2019 or perhaps, \u2018I\u2019m out of the loop, \u2026 \u2018Life is so busy but I am praying in my heart as I go to-and-fro.\u2019 \u2026 Like your prayers are \u201cTip-Toeing\u201d \u2026 silent \u2026 are they being heard?<\/p>\n

Romans 12:4, \u201cFor as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function.\u201d
\n1 Corinthians 12:27, \u201cNow you are the body of Christ, and members individually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, let me tell you about the vitality of the \u201ctoe\u201d in the Body!\u00a0 Believe me, the body depends on the toes!<\/p>\n

Sunday morning after the PTH conference, I was walking from Annie\u2019s house to gather a small handful of clean laundry and a couple glassware items.\u00a0 On my way into the house, I warned another gal exiting\u2026. \u201cBe extremely careful – slick steps!!! (You can probably see where this is going).\u00a0\u00a0 Well, coming out of the house, I found that \u2018slick spot\u2019! At the fear of spreading clean underwear all over the porch and breaking the glass I was carrying, I tried to fall \u2018gracefully; a slow motion spill!\u00a0 It could have been really bad considering the back of my neck hit on the edge of the step; but it more awkward than anything \u2026 it was as if a hand intercepted my head and broke my fall.\u00a0 However, at the other end of my body, was my big toe torched – it wasn\u2019t so fortunate; it bent in a way that was never intended.\u00a0 For the next few days, I couldn\u2019t do anything without realizing how much I appreciated that big toe, yet how its function generally goes unnoticed.<\/p>\n

Here is my point:\u00a0 Your prayers are vital to the Body of Christ and the Kingdom plans and purposes that are going forth – whether in your home, your church and community \/ state, or around the world.\u00a0 Although I was ever so grateful my fall was everted, I was still reminded for the next couple days, how important that big toe was even though it was crammed in a shoe – out of sight!\u00a0\u00a0 Spiritually speaking, even though you may think you are tucked away, \u2026 \u201cTip-toeing\u2019 in prayer, out of sight \u2026. unnoticed!\u00a0\u00a0 – Think again!\u00a0 Your prayers are the very foundation\u00a0 to fulfill Kingdom plans \u2026 and those \u2018tip-toe\u2019 prayers are the member of the body that permits it to function as ONE \u2026 His Body!\u00a0 Thank you intercessors and friends for your faithful prayers.<\/p>\n

That is kind of a silly analogy about prayer, but I want you to be reminded how very much your prayer coverage is effecting the Kingdom of God!\u00a0 PTH is so appreciative and thankful!\u00a0 The Kaikoura, New Zealand 1st PTH Conference was very fruitful \u2026 the seeds of your prayers came through strong in support of Nancy and the PTH team and what He had in mind for NZ!<\/p>\n

I am sure I can speak for all the PTH team when I say that we were all blessed to hear the pastor of Kaikoura share that their prayers had been:\u00a0 \u201cLord, send someone to Kaikoura to give us what is needed for us to advance the Kingdom of God in this little town.\u201d\u00a0 How confirming because last year, Nancy heard the Lord say go to Kaikoura, New Zealand.<\/p>\n

What a humble privilege for all of us (including intercessors) to be the \u2018answer\u2019 God chose to go because a littler church in Kaikoura, NZ was beseeching God:\u00a0 \u201cLord send\u2026.\u201d\u00a0 So whether you traveled with PTH – \u2018head or toe\u2019 \u2026 physical body or spirit of prayer you are God\u2019s chosen answer to Kaikoura, New Zealand.<\/p>\n

So many testimonies came forth from our time in New Zealand.\u00a0 The testimonies that are coming forth are so transforming, glory to God!\u00a0 The conference was powerful but the greatest miracle was salvation of a new believer.\u00a0 Nancy\u2019s messages were a \u2018right-on-time\u2019\u00a0 message for this season in NZ; For His people \/ His Body!\u00a0 The workshop speakers delivered teachings from the Word that will change lives forever.\u00a0 Even though Nancy\u2019s messages and the workshop speakers\u2019 topics are a continuous theme,\u00a0 the message and delivery is never the same!\u00a0 Lives were changed and transformed.\u00a0 People were filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered from various things that hinder a closer walk with the Lord, hearts and minds healed.\u00a0 So many encouraging reports!<\/p>\n

Your prayer coverage brought much favor and strength!\u00a0 The time went so quickly and it was hard to leave all of our new New Zealander friends.\u00a0 I think we felt like we had known them our entire lives.\u00a0 What an awesome God we serve!<\/p>\n

In the wee hours of the morning (Tues; 6\/6), Nancy and I headed to the first of 10 capitol prayer assignments – Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.\u00a0 Other PTH team members heading back home in increments.<\/p>\n

June 6, 2016 Capitol (Parliament) Prayer; Papua New Guinea:<\/p>\n

As soon as we arrived in Port Moresby, we dropped our luggage at the hotel and headed to the capitol.\u00a0 Hearing the instrumental song \u201c Old Rugged Cross\u201d playing throughout the hotel lobby of the hotel was a pretty good indication we were in a good place.<\/p>\n

Heading to the capitol of PNG:\u00a0 Our taxi driver\u2019s name was Jonah \u2026 he said it wasn\u2019t his birth name but \u201che\u201d renamed himself!\u00a0 When we arrived at the capitol, the first impression was it was so massive, yet sooooo quiet \u2026still!\u00a0 Our taxi driver gave some basic thoughts regarding the capitol but then another man came out of the Parliament building \u2026. \u201cDavid.\u201d\u00a0 David was warm and welcoming, but informed us we were too late to go into the capitol building.\u00a0 That was perfectly okay.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t plan to or need to go inside. We only needed the eastern side of the capitol, which is basically where David found us.\u00a0 Nancy, asked if we could just stand and pray for their government.\u00a0 So, David said he would be back.\u00a0 Our taxi driver seemed to \u2018hang with us\u2019 so we didn\u2019t have the normal secluded spot to carry out the mission.\u00a0 So, we kind of included him in prayer since he agreed with the power of the scriptures we were reading (Matt. 23:2-33; 2 Tim. 3:2-5) as we repented, prayed, and made our declarations.\u00a0 Come to find out, Jonah was an elder in his church – New Covenant Holy Spirit Revival Church.<\/p>\n

Well, David did come back and would you believe, \u201che\u201d changed his mind and decided it wasn\u2019t too late to go inside.\u00a0 But, we were not allowed to take pictures; absolutely no pictures allowed inside the building.\u00a0 No problem!<\/p>\n

Listen to this:\u00a0 There have been some changes in the structure of the government, for lack of better terminology.\u00a0 The once welcoming landmark of a totem-pole that greeted every one who entered the door of the parliament was replaced with an extravagant banner displaying the WORD OF GOD as the very foundation of the banner; .\u00a0 This is the new structure for this country and its government.\u00a0 David took us upstairs into an enormous chamber area where members of the Diplomatic Corps and foreign dignitaries assembly, along with seats for media personnel, a broadcasting section, audience, and yes, the grand seat of Speaker of the House.\u00a0 And would you believe, in the center of the chambers, incased in glass, was a huge 404 year old gift from an American missionary – a first edition original King James Bible.\u00a0 Upon its arrival in 2015, PNG’s prime minister Peter O’Neill declared:\u00a0 “Receiving this Bible today adds to the sense of significance as we define our nation.\u201d\u00a0 How awesome is that!<\/p>\n

While David was so graciously turning on the lights in the assembly room (located on the lower level), Nancy and I were able to complete the mandate using symbolic symbols:\u00a0 break the chain representing the 21 hypocritical sins (noted in the scriptures above), the gold-trimmed read ribbon (glory & blood), dime (10 or testimony), and heart to represent His heart\/new heart.)\u00a0 When we finished, guess what David asked????\u00a0 Would you like me to take your picture?\u00a0 (remember – no pictures).\u00a0 But God\u2019s favor!<\/p>\n
