(Singapore Parliament)<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear PTH Friends,<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the last post (from Port Moresby, PNG), we have been to the following parliaments:\u00a0 Dili, Timor-Leste (6\/10); Singapore (6\/14);\u00a0 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (6\/16).\u00a0 Today, we are in Colombo, SriLanka and heading to the designated place of prayer later today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your prayer coverage has literally moved mountains and paved a way for Nancy and I to get to the eastern gates of the parliaments – the specific place the Lord has assigned for the prayer strategies over the nations. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Intellectually speaking, it seems too simple, doesn’t it?\u00a0 But this is what God\u2019s Word has to say in His realm of reasoning:\u00a0 \u201cBut God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty].<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 (1 Cor. 1:27\/AMP).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFoolish\u201d things???\u00a0\u00a0 In searching out \u2018foolish\u2019 from the Greek meaning, I came across the following descriptions for foolish:\u00a0 flat and insipid.\u00a0 Hmmmmm??? Insipid?\u00a0 How peculiar when thinking insipid means lacking interest, or shallow works.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, imagine this:\u00a0 Your prayers are making-way clear across the globe so that two people can stand at an eastern gate to proclaim God\u2019s Word, repent and declare on behalf of a nation, God\u2019s purposes prevail \u2026 (simply put).\u00a0 To the world, this would easily be viewed as \u2018shallow work\u2019!\u00a0 To the world, praying for such an assignment would be easily viewed as \u2018lacking interest\u2019.\u00a0 After all, the actual prophetic act of what the Lord has asked Nancy to do really only takes minutes, give or take.\u00a0\u00a0 Yes, to the world this would definitely be considered a \u2018foolish\u2019 thing.\u00a0 But God says, this is what HE has selected to use as a means to shame the wise (reveal ignorance).<\/span><\/p>\n

Your prayers are for the purpose and positioning of the \u2018foolish things\u2019.\u00a0 Crazy right! \ud83d\ude42 \u2026 Remember in Acts, chapter 13 ??? \u2026 the story of Paul and others sent out by the Holy Spirit\u2026 At first the \u2018religious’ leaders we gung-ho \u2026 but in the end, those same \u2018religious people\u2019 became scoffers \/ despisers of what the Holy Spirit was speaking through Paul.\u00a0 And what happened in the end??? \u2026 (verse 46) Boldness increase, (Verse 52) and the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Kualu<\/a>How has your prayer positioned this \u2018foolishness\u2019?\u00a0 Listen to this:\u00a0 When Nancy and I arrived in the taxi at one of the parliaments we were met by a closed gate \u2026 in fact, security personnel met our taxi before we even got to the gate and set foot on the ground \u2026.\u00a0 We were told \u201cNO ENTRY\u201d \u2026 and before we could even come up with Plan B, the security said, \u201cYes, come \u2026 but only to the clock\u201d \u2026 which was just beyond the security guard post \u2026 \u201cand only few minutes!\u201d\u00a0 Well, that was all we needed!\u00a0 And here is another miracle at this same parliament.\u00a0 This was a city, populated with millions of people, and it felt like most of them were on the road with us\u2026 just saying – there was extreme traffic congestion! Furthermore, we had no idea the direction we would be approaching the parliament (north, east, south, or west) \u2026. Remember, we could only go a few steps inside the gate \u2026 and would you believe (of course you would) – we arrived at the EASTERN GATE!\u00a0 Only God!!! The power of your prayers!<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, that is what I call God using the foolish things to shame the wise!\u00a0 We couldn\u2019t have planned it better if we tried – but God put your prayers into action \u2026. Purposed and positioned for the \u2018foolish thing\u2019!!! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you, thank you thank you!\u00a0 Your prayers do matter and they bring shame to the wise!<\/span><\/p>\n

Nancy and I are ready to journey to our next parliament to pray today.\u00a0\u00a0 The next sever countries are critical and as you can see \u2026 your prayers are purposed and do in fact, position!<\/span><\/p>\n
