\"Waterford,<\/a>Point to Hope Ministry
\nWaterford, Ohio June 2014<\/p>\n

On Tuesday June 23, 2014, I left my home in Alaska with great anticipation. I flew to Columbus, Ohio to rendezvous with my other team members. Nancy Haney and Sarah Tarter flew in and switched gears from book writing to answer God\u2019s call. They had come to Ohio to minister in a Days of Destiny Conference at The Rock Church in Waterford, Ohio.\u00a0 Debbie Anderes also flew in for the conference and was greeted with hugs. It was a wonderful reunion.
\nWe then embarked on a final two hour drive to Ute Looney\u2019s home in Athens (Ohio). Once there, Ute and Russ Looney welcomed us into their home.\u00a0 We stayed with them Tuesday and Wednesday night. Their home is in the country and was very relaxing.\u00a0 We had coffee and communion in the morning, watched deer in the evening, and our nights were filled with fireflies. Needless to say, we felt rejuvenated after our stay. The beauty of God\u2019s creation was all around us.
\nOn Thursday morning we left for the evening service at The Rock Church in nearby Waterford.\u00a0 Upon arriving at the church we were graciously received by Pastor Deane and Becky Wagner.\u00a0 It was wonderful to see old friends and greet new ones.\u00a0 Nancy and Point to Hope have ministered in this church before, so it felt like coming home.
\nWe had such a sense of the impossible being made possible. It was awe inspiring to realize we were a part of a great number of people called to intercede, pray, and minister God\u2019s purpose for the body of believers in our gathering. In the first meeting we sang \u201cEvery stronghold will be broken!\u201d\u00a0 This was our heart\u2019s prayer in anticipation of what God would do.\u00a0 Several children were enthusiastically worshiping the Lord in song.\u00a0 It was beautiful to see.
\nNancy was well received and shared her personal testimony of how God carried her through many difficult challenges in the past two years. She spoke about a near death experience, her husband\u2019s battle with cancer, and emphasized that we are all but one choice away from our destiny. She said we are to hang onto our faith and stand by God no matter the tribulation. It was a message about getting back to the basics of praying, reading God\u2019s word, and loving others into the Kingdom. Essentially, it was about hearing the sound of the Lord and taking action.
\nSarah sang and shared a beautiful testimony of how God brought her through a life and death struggle.
\nOn Saturday morning we focused on the gift of prophecy. Each person had a word of prophecy given to them by the Point to Hope Team.\u00a0 This was a confidence building exercise for our team and Nancy helped guide us. Many people were blessed, encouraged, and touched by this event. They began to see God as the solution to their troubles rather than the cause of their pain.
\nThe conference ended on Saturday night with Nancy explaining how each of us has unique roles in God\u2019s kingdom. Some of us plant, some water, and others sow. In working together, we advance the Kingdom of God.
