Dear Point To Hope Friends,<\/p>\n

Wow, another year has come and gone! Here\u2019s another fact \u2026 can\u2019t go back! Yet, we all have the same opportunity before us: \u201cBe better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today.\u201d (Lorenzo Snow). \u2026 and you probably just asked yourself the same question I asked myself: Who\u2019s Lorenzo Snow??? Yes, I just quoted a religious leader who served as fifth president of \u2018The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\u2019. Stay with me\u2026 initially, Lorenzo Snow and his family were Baptist but Joseph Smith moved within 4 miles of their farm \u2026 and you can predict the rest of the story\u2026 He got snowed!<\/p>\n

Where am I going with Lorenzo Snow? What ever victories or defeats we encountered in 2017, we can\u2019t relive; good or bad\u2026 BUT we do have 2018 to look forward to; To be better today and \u2018better\u2019 better tomorrow! Tomorrow is 2018! If you read Nancy\u2019s \u201cMerry Christmas\u201d letter, you\u2019ll know that the theme the Lord gave her for 2018 is \u201cRedemptive Bondage\u201d. First thought – \u201cRedemptive Bondage\u201d almost sounds \u2018risky\u2019 or like an oxymoron. Yet, according to the Lord, 2018 will be awesome IF we walk in obedience. And, this should be a relief: It\u2019s not just trying to be \u2018good\u2019! Jesus himself, when He was called a \u2018good teacher\u2019 answered \u201cNo one is good – except God alone,\u201d (Luke 18:18b\/NIV). Yes, walk in obedience! Stay under the protection of His mighty hand! Be and stay enlightened in the Word and walk by the leading of the Holy Spirit \u2026. stay on the train tracks of Word and Prayer! The enemy would love to \u201cSnow\u201d us any way possible and lead us away from Jesus Christ like Lorenzo Snow. \u2026. BUT continue to live and walk by the Spirit. \u201cNow the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom\u201d (2 Cor. 3:17\/NIV).<\/p>\n

Yes, yes, yes, praise the Lord, we can have freedom in the midst of bondage; Redemptive Bondage!<\/p>\n

I will spare you all the details of a current home project but let me say this\u2026. replacing a carpeted staircase with solid oak stairs is a literal step by step process. Da, right! But spiritually speaking, as we go through each day of 2018, we can not proceed to the next step \/ stage \/ season until the timing is right! If the cuts are not accurate, if the wood is not sanded properly, if the applications of the finishing top coats are rushed, the end result will not display the beauty of the wood grain; the wood – God\u2019s creation! Timing is everything \u2026 and God\u2019s timing is everything – \u2018wait for Him\u2019 \u2026 walk by His Spirit! Psalm 27:14 (TPT), \u201cHere\u2019s what I\u2019ve learned through it all: Don\u2019t give up, don\u2019t be impatient; Be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave, courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep waiting\u2014 For He will never disappoint you!\u201d<\/p>\n

On behalf of the Point To Hope team, thank you for your faithful prayers! Thank you for your obedience and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit! The Point To Hope \u2018train movement\u2019 is powered by the Word and Prayer \u2026 we are all on His Glory train \u2026 we might be in different train-cars, but we are on the same track and going the same direction by the leading of the Holy Spirit!<\/p>\n

May we all continue to ask for God\u2019s mercy and the outpouring of this favor as we move into 2018: Redemptive Bondage! It is going to be great.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Earlier in December, Nancy and I traveled to Washington D.C. to visit the African Embassies (total of 51 located in DC); An assignment where the Lord gives Nancy the authority and anointing for each country. Thank you especially for your prayer coverage for Africa as this is part of the \u201c7 Years of Plenty\u201d \/ Country prayer mandate. More to come about Africa when more details become available. Also, while in DC, we stood in front of The White House \u2026. and let me say, the atmosphere was different \u2026 it was Peaceful and Free! Just sayin\u2019 \u2026 we sensed a shift. That is not a political statement \u2026 just sharing what we sensed spiritually.<\/p>\n
