To all Point to Hope family and friends,

The\n COVID 19 Coronavirus worldwide event continues to disrupt many lives. \nBut it will not last forever and will soon pass. In the meantime, take \nyour stand on Psalm 91:3 \u201cGod will deliver you from the \u2018deadly \npestilence.\u2019\u201d

Thank you all for being so patient. I have been \npraying about the Anchorage Point To Hope Conference and have been \nwaiting on God\u2019s direction concerning what to do. I had set a March 31 \ndeadline to decide whether to cancel or go forward. I had complete trust\n that God would show me what to do with consideration to the Coronavirus\n disruption.

That decision has come early as the Alaska Governor \nhas issued a 14-day mandatory quarantine for all travelers entering the \nState of Alaska. This will begin on Wednesday, March 25 and will be \n\u201creevaluated\u201d on Tuesday, April 21.

The Alaska Governor has also \nissued a mandatory 10-person limit on all gatherings statewide. Those \nthat do gather must be at least 6 feet apart. This mandate currently \ndoes not have an ending date and is entirely dependent on virus \nactivity.

With such restrictions the Anchorage Point To Hope \nConference scheduled for April 23-25, 2020 cannot go forward and will \nhave to be canceled.

If\n you are one of those who have airline reservations, if you cancel now \nand reference the new Alaska entry restrictions, it may help you to \nobtain reimbursement or future credit for travel. I would encourage each\n one to not delay but to immediately file for reimbursement for your \ntravel reservations.<\/strong>

In the days ahead I would ask each one to keep praying and encouraging one another in the Lord.

Especially,\n be praying for your sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus who are \nquarantined, that the joy of the Lord may be their strength.

In \nthe time ahead do not become overwhelmed to despair, nor let fear begin \nto rule your thoughts. Take one day at a time, be praying, stay plugged \nin, and share your prayers, thoughts and prophetic words that others may\n be blessed also.

My goal is to see you all this coming summer so we can share in joyful fellowship together in our Lord Jesus.  Amen!!!
