It is fall season! As seasons change, we are required to make some adjustments. Most of us would probably agree that ‘adjustments’ usually require us to deviate from our comfortable routine(s). Nonetheless, if we don’t make adjustments, we might find ourselves very uncomfortable. A simple example is as temperatures drop, we have to put away our summer attire and pull out the sweater or jacket. And depending were you live, more extreme adjustments may be required. Adjustments may not be convenient, but they are usually necessary if we are to keep with the season … His season!
Nancy has been sharing a message regarding ‘adjustment’. Here is a question she poses: What do the following individuals have in common?: Noah, Moses, Abraham, David, the disciples, (and other individuals of the Bible you could probably think of). Answer: All of them, after hearing God’s voice and gaining revelation, they all had to make an adjustment!
When we ask for the Spirit of the Lord to “Fall Upon Us” it most likely will require some sort of adjustment on our part. Although the adjustment might seem uncomfortable initially, the outcome is far better than if we would have stayed in the season we were in. So let us be ready and willing to ‘adjust’ to whatever HE has in store. After all, we want His Spirit to be free flowing in us, without hindrance…. right?
Every few seasons, my husband has to pull out the washing machine, unhook the water hose from the facet and clean out the sediments that collect on the filter and interrupt the flow of the water. Once those deposits are removed, the water gushes into the washing machine. As a result, the whole process of washing clothes is much more productive and efficient; It functions as intended with just a little adjustment!
It is no different spiritually. God has a design for each one of us to function as He intended! Yet, because we are human, time and circumstances over the course of seasons, has a way of making deposits that are not always welcomed and / or that we are aware of; Or deposits that are unseen. However, if we are willing to make adjustments, and have an encounter with the Holy Spirit, He is gentle and willing to help us through our adjustment(s), by the power of the Holy Spirit. Also, sometimes we have good plans but He simply has better plans, if we are willing to adjust.

I want to leave you with the testimony regarding the power of your prayers of intercession for Point To Hope Ministries. The PTH conference in New Zealand (in which 16 PTH leadership went) was amazing and powerful- impacting many lives (last June). Then, Nancy and I went on from NZ to 10 more countries to pray at each nations’ parliament building. It was incredibly smooooooooth and we had much favor in the most unusual ways.
Are you curious to know why we had so much undeniable favor? Nancy was too, and this is what the Lord told her: Your intercessors were praying with PASSION & DESIRE! They have grabbed ahold of MY plans and purposes and are taking part in what I am doing through you; They (intercessors) are every much a part of MY mandate for PTH.
So there you have it! Know that your prayers are pouring out His FAVOR and have availed much for His Kingdom purposes. “The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]..” (James 6:16b/AMP)
Proof is in the prayer: Thank you for your prays of desire and passion … He hears and answers!
See the website for ministry details in the Ohio / West Virginia area www.pointtohope.org After the ministry in this area, Nancy and I will be continuing on to the following capitol cities of these countries (11/9-11/23): Greenland, Iceland, Canada, as well as the province Nova Scotia.
On behalf of PTH Ministries, thank you for your faithful prayers!
AND …. We have a voice as Christians, don’t be silent … ! On November 8th, let your voice be heard on paper!
Blessings to all,
Sincerely,
