Grin & “Bear” It

bear

Bear:  This picture represents waiting, watching… Assemble the troops — rally the intercessors,  new battle plans for us are being written as I write!  These plans are for those that have ears to hear and obedient hearts for the advancement!  Facing the enemy straight on! The enemy will not see us because the shield of faith is upon us; And the full armor intact.  The victory is already written by the hand of The Lord!  The launching… Just watch and see with spiritual eyes, and you will Know what I mean!  DELIGHT IN MY PLANS… Delight in My will (Ps.40:8) …His plans will not be held back – it will always be done! (Dan 4:35).

Dear PTH Friends,

Last week Nancy sent the above picture including the word from the Lord of what the bear represents.  Furthermore, she said it was for ALL of us and will apply if we have ears to hear and obedient hearts.  Amen!

A few thoughts came to mind when I saw this picture.  The position of this photo depicts the fact that I (we) are proactive in our battle plan; Offensive! – His plans and purposes.  That should bring a grin to our faces.  If we are sensitive and alert we can be positioned by the leading of the Holy Spirit and He will give us a view to see the enemy; We see him first … or  receive warning of impeding danger.

Secondly, I couldn’t help but notice the bear is looking from a man-made structure; A guard rail designed to keep us on the straight and narrow through the curves and turns of our life’s travels.  Spiritually speaking, God has already established firm guard rails in His Word to help us every step of the way…. they are not of this world.  One being the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  “He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword.  Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.” (Deu. 29:b)  That is good news for sure … even though the enemy peers down from a high place God Word trumps him with ‘we will tread on the enemy’s heights’.  Yes, the victory is already written by the hand of the Lord.

Lastly, and quite simply, keep your focus on His road and don’t be distracted by what is along the wayside!

And about the bear …
Bear in mind:
“Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear.” (1 Sam. 17:36)
“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens.” (Ps 68:19).
(speaking of those planted in the house of the Lord:  “They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green…” (Ps. 92:14).
“For I bear Your name, Lord God Almighty.” (Jer. 15:16b).
When the Lord does the planting on the mountain heights:  “It will produce branches and bear fruit…” (Ez. 17:23).
“Your people bear Your name” (Dan. 9:19b)
“Every good tree bears good fruit” (Matt. 7:17a).
“And so you will bear testimony to Me.  But make up your mind not to worry beforehand…” (Luke 21: 13 & 14b).
“If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit” (Jo 15:5b).

There are many more, but let me leave you with this last one from John 15:8a, “This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit.”

I pray you are blessed knowing that the Lord faces the enemy face on!  He bears the battle for us when we stay in His protective guard rails.  Amen.

Please continue to pray for the upcoming PTH conference in Ketchikan, Alaska.  (Sept. 25-27, 2014).  The theme of the conference is “The Sound of the Lord … Listen.”  God has something specific in store for Ketchikan!  The theme may be the same, but His Sound never returns void; It is alive and active.

Blessings to all,

Sincerely,
Sarah Tarter,
PTH Facilitator
