Our Dearest Nancy; We love you always with an everlasting love …

Dear Point To Hope Family and Friends,

Countless times, I have recorded these words in my note book when Nancy was speaking. She would say I want these words on my epitaph: “She lived to do His good pleasure.” (Phil.2:13).

And oh, how Nancy did His good pleasure every moment she lived! But today, both in deep grief and joy, I am honored to record a new note for Nancy: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me, Nancy, the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day and not to me only but to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Tim. 4:7-8).

One of the things I was mostly looking forward to when Nancy awakened, was to tell her how very blessed and proud she would be because of all of you! What a mighty army of God was fighting for her every step of the way; Holding Fast! Now, she can see for herself from a most glorious and excellent view; and she can also see what an amazing leader and friend she had become to so many. And now, Nancy is fully awake and alive!

God’s Faithfulness to the very last breath:
By God’s grace and mercy, Nancy’s nurse picked up the phone yesterday when I called to Zoom @ 11:00 AM (that in itself, was a miracle). The nurse told me later no one would have even gone in Nancy’s room for at least another 30 minute had there not been a phone call for Zoom. But God’s sovereign hand was upon Nancy and all of us. Upon entering Nancy’s room, it was evident there was a problem. The medial personnel team was able to resuscitate Nancy, and transport her to the main hospital. And some of you were able to prayed her through as well.

God extended His grace and compassion to allow time for us to get to the hospital for one more ‘I love you’ and our dear Nancy was never alone. If God had not orchestrated the timing of the call, and if Nancy would not have been transported to the main hospital, no one would have been permitted in to see Nancy, and she would have passed alone. Isn’t the goodness, grace, mercy, and compassion of God beyond comprehension? He is worthy to be praised always!

One moment, and one step at a time, “let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith,” (Heb. 12:1b-2a).

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us…. (Heb. 12:1a). Nancy became part of this great cloud of witnesses on February 22, 2021 @ approximately 7:30 PM AKST.

Thank you for your faithfulness and love! Let us continue to hold fast to Faith and His goodness, and everlasting love.

Sincerely,
Sarah Tarter
