Dear PTH Friends,
I don’t know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed May’s bible reading assignment (the book of Proverbs; 1 chapter per day). Wow! Every day was powerful and perfect … Flawless! Every word! And, the Lord also thinks so: “Every word of God is flawless,” (Prov. 30:5a/NIV).
Well, now what is in store for June? I was reminded that the keys the Lord gave Nancy to share earlier this year are still in effect. As a matter of fact, they are still in effect for the next decade. You can review the keys in detail by reviewing the newsletter: https://pointtohope.com/?p=583
However, there is one more key that is not listed in the that particular newsletter, and that is the book of Haggai.
Boom! Guess what, those keys breakdown perfectly for a bible reading assignment for the month of June (30 days). I apologize, as June’s bible reading has already started. But the good news is, even those who came later got the same reward, according to biblical principles (Matt. 20:1-16).
So, jump right in!
Bible reading plan for June:
June 1: Ephesians 6
June 2: Job 38
June 3: Haggai 1
June 4: Haggai 2
June 5th – 17th: Genesis 12-24 (one chapter per day)
June 18th – 30th: Hebrews 1 – 13 (one chapter per day)
In all seriousness, think about the meaning of the year 2020: Open wide your mouth, but with God’s wisdom. Where does His wisdom come from? His Word! It is alive! The book of Proverbs was a right-on target and prayer strategy for where we are today! Oh, how we need God’s wisdom. I can’t wait to feast on the Word and see what unfolds for June!
No matter what things look like about us, God is in control! Keep meditation on the Word, not the world. Keep praying God’s will; pull down God’s promises and covenants! They are yes and Amen! He is faithful, regardless what stirs and shakes around the country / world. Pray for Israel, pray for America, pray for Hong Kong; All countries! God knows us as His children, where ever we live. And He wants to adapted multitudes more!
I also want to remind us of a sobering thought. When the Lord told Nancy the prayer assignments for the countries had to be completed by Dec. 31, 2022, people would often ask, “What then? “ The Lord’s response: It depends on what the Christians do; do nothing, and the world as you know it will be gone forever. The Lord also said just look at the last 5-10 years. This word was given in 2015, so think about the changes from 2005-2015. I don’t know if you realized it or not, but during that era your christian rights were being chipped away; stripped!!! We are a world in need of Jesus! So, yesterday, when the President of the United States stood with bible in hand, I for one was very proud. Sure, people will judge his motive and intension, but here is the truth: there is only ONE Judge and only ONE Truth: Jesus … and President Trump was holding Jesus: “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us” (John 1:14a/NIV).
So let’s do the “J” – Jump into June with Jesus!

Lastly, I will leave you with this note from Nancy:
“Praise the Lord! All God’s people. Study, meditate, intercede; Blessings going up, and blessings of answered prayers coming down in His fullness. Yes, praise the Lord! Pentecost renewal this last weekend (Sunday, May 31st). More Holy Spirit fire being poured out among the believers. And the month of June will be pouring out evidence of FRUIT! Yes, all month long, and beyond! All around us we are hearing, ‘We are the new norm’! But, I believe it is more accurate to declare “New Beginnings” – tell them about all the opportunities of ‘New Beginnings! Yes, looking forward, not back. Remembering foremost, God’s great love for each of us!”
